Structure and Form

How to build strong sentences correctly
🧱 Why do we need it?
Think of building a house out of order. You first need a foundation, then walls, and last a roof.
This grammar family is the blueprint for your building. It helps you:
-
Put words in the right order
-
Connect words properly (subjects, verbs, objects, etc.)
-
Know when to use auxiliaries, negations, and punctuation
It helps people understand you clearly!
⚙️ How does it work?
Think in layers:
Word Order Rules (especially Subject + Verb + Object)
→“Eats she apples.” vs. “She eats apples.”
Question Structures
→ “Do you like it?” vs. “You do like it?”
Negatives
→ “He doesn’t know” vs. “He no know”
Commands and Instructions
→ “Please sit down.” (Correct structure is often just the verb.)
Agreement and Matching
→ Subjects and verbs must agree:
“He runs.” / “They run.”

🎯 When do we use this?
-
Asking clear questions
-
Writing well-formed emails or paragraphs
-
Avoiding misunderstandings in speech
-
Giving instructions and directions
🧠 Tip for Learners:
Build your sentence like a house:
-
Foundation / Base= subject
-
Walls / Middle = verb
-
Roof / Top = rest of the sentence
